Taylor Swift is helping fans facing financial hardships during the coronavirus pandemic.

As the COVID-19 crisis continues to take a toll on the economy, forcing millions out of work indefinitely, the “Lover” songbird has been reaching out to offer her followers financial support amid these trying times.

The first fan to share the news of Swift’s generous gesture was Twitter user Holly Turner, whose Tumblr post regarding her money troubles caught the pop star's attention.

“I made a post on tumblr about how i was scared i wouldn't be able to stay living in NYC because of what corona has done to the music industry. @taylorswift13 literally single-handedly saved my ability to stay here. i cannot even believe my eyes right now,” Turner wrote with a screenshot of the receipt for Swift’s $3,000 donation, which came with the note: “Holly, You’ve always been there for me. I want to be there for you right now. I hope this helps. Love, Taylor.”

Another user from New Jersey named Samantha — who expressed concerns about being unemployed and struggling financially — received the same blessing. The superstar DM’d Samantha, asking where to send her $3,000. "Samantha, I saw your tweet about being stressed about bills piling up and I want to help," Swift wrote. "What's the best way I can gift you $3000? Do you have PayPal?"

A Tumblr user named Leah, stressed over insufficient funds, was also just as surprised by the "Delicate" musician's massive contribution. "Leah, I'm so sorry this situation has caused you so much stress and I hope a gift of $3000 will help. Can you send me your PayPal account please?"

Swift's latest acts of good come after the collective efforts of many other celebrities have made to relieve everyday people of the anxiety brought on by the wide-spreading disease. Earlier this week, Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell — who own rental properties in Los Angeles — waived April's rent for their tenants in the wake of the pandemic.
