Stan Lee's home was swarmed by cops Thursday after a man supposedly declined to leave his property. Law implementation sources disclose to us they were called to the Marvel author's L.A. home after a previous protector of Lee's appeared. We're told both Lee and his girl asked Max Anderson - a sentenced criminal - to leave, and when he cannot, they called police to mediate.
Our sources say reps from grown-up defensive administrations were likewise called. When officers arrived they addressed Anderson, and we're advised he consented to leave calmly. Stan has had a harsh recent weeks ... he was taken to the clinic not long ago for heart inconvenience and cops are examining the unapproved buy of a $850k condominium made in Stan's name.
On the brilliant side ... "Dark Panther," which he co-made, is as of now murdering it in the cinematic world.
In light of Thursday's occurrence, we're advised Stan has enlisted private security to watch his property every minute of every day to keep any more interlopers.
No, he's not enlisting King T'Challa to watch his back.
