DMX is going to have the book tossed at him in his tax avoidance case, if government prosecutors get their direction ... TMZ has learned. As per docs, the U.S. Lead prosecutor's Office is suggesting the rapper get the maximum - 5 years in jail - when he's condemned one week from now. Prosecutors are encouraging the judge to "send the message" to X that "star control doesn't qualifies somebody for a free pass."
TMZ broke the story ... DMX struck a request in November. He entered a liable request to one check of tax avoidance, and maintained a strategic distance from truly hard time - up to 40 years. X was liking the case after the arrangement, however from that point forward he's been sent back to imprison for coming up short a medication test - and now prosecutors need to ensure he takes in a lesson. In docs, prosecutors say he's been "on a limited wrongdoing binge for as long as 30 years." He has a great deal of mug shots. Condemning goes down next Wednesday.
