A Series of Unfortunate Events has finally come back to Netflix for its second season and I couldn't be happier. The show gets right where the primary season left off with the Baudelaire kids, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny, waiting to meet Vice Principal Nero at Prufrock Preparatory School. It's great to see the familiar faces of the original class, but at the same time it's energizing to meet new characters on the Baudelaire's voyage. Season Two acquaints us with a couple of new intriguing characters, including the villainess Esmé Squalor. The actress who plays Esmé Squalor on A Series of Unfortunate Events is someone you'll certainly perceive from her past work.
Fans of A Series of Unfortunate Events will undoubtedly perceive Lucy Punch, who memory breathes life into Esmé Squalor, from one of her earlier parts. She played Hattie, one of the abhorrent advance sisters, in Ella Enchanted back in 2004. From that point forward she's appeared in various other surely understood tasks, including Dinner for Schmucks, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, Hot Fuzz, and Bad Teacher. She even made on the insidious stride sister part for another turn the film adaptation of Into the Woods. Punch is only recognizable for her wide screen work, either. She's appeared in a huge amount of TV programs, as well, including New Girl, Motherland, and Ben and Kate.
