Ex-Super Bowl Champ Jameel Cook Allegedly Stole $100K From NFL Player Trust

September 8, 2018

Jameel Cook - a FB on the '02 Super Bowl-winning Tampa Bay Bucs - has been accused of supposedly taking more than $100K implied for harmed NFL players and is confronting 10 years in jail. As per the Harris County D.A's. Office in Texas - 39-year-old Cook documented 30 sham claims between March 2016 and September 2017. The record Cook supposedly stole from was the Gene Upshaw NFL Player Plan - set up to profit previous players.

The D.A. says Cook presented the cases and was repaid cash he professed to have paid out-of-stash on doctor's visit expenses.

Authorities say the cases were B.S. ... what's more, after an examination, accused

Cook of Securing the Execution of Documents by Deception - a third degree lawful offense.

He's looking up to 10 years in jail and a $10,000 fine.

FYI - Cook played eight years in the NFL ... six with the Bucs and two with the Houston Texans.
